The two areas I would focus on is management by exception which ties into anomaly detection where analytics and ai/ml can add a lot of value and business planning which needs much tighter integration of capacity projections and lifecycle management including Sw upgrades and comparability matrices, equipment lifecycles, support contracts, etc
