Idée reçue n° 2 : l’informatique est réservée aux hommes Je ne comprend même pas l'idée. En quoi un homme serait plus qualifié qu'une femme pour ça. Il est vrai qu'on en croise moins, mais heureusement, j'en ai croisé de très compétentes et fiables.

Il y a beaucoup de métiers différents en informatique, et surtout de spécialisations. Il m'est arrivé que je dise à un client que la problématique dont en question était celle d'un autre de ces prestataires; réponse: "je ne veux pas le savoir, vous êtes informaticien, je vous demande de vous en occuper". C'était un médecin radiologue. C'était comme si je lui demandais de me faire une opération à cœur ouvert parce qu'il est médecin....

But the era of Mobility, IoT and the cloud computing, it's clear that IT is more that computer science, it touching any aspect from data gouvernance principal to data transformation to produce information. with the Cloud and SaaS application we can event deal with IT without knowing the fundamental of computer science. ie. people on the social network consuming and produsing a tons of data/information via their devices, but have no clue of how to operate the basic task on those devices.

La estabilidad, sea donde sea, depende de muchos factores (despues de todo sigue siendo un trabajo como cualquier otro). Es verdad que esta en demanda y por lo tanto es considerada mas estable, pero todo dependiendo el ambito al cual se apunte, el pais en el cual se busque, la experiencia y conocimientos, etc. No olvidemos que TI esta en constante evolucion rapidamente y debemos constantemente actualizarnos y aprender las nuevas herramientas y nuevas tecnologias.

We can't do everything. Specialties exist for a reason and most IT pros have a focus area. Do we have the capacity and ability to perform multiple tasks accross various of functions? Yes. But a SWE shouldn't be helping with your spreadsheet. A cloud engineer might not be familiar with your network switches and other hardware, and a helpdesk technician should not be building you an app. Generally speaking, IT professionals are not, and cannot be jack of all trades. It is counterintuitive to misuse/underutilize someone's skills and training to have them do something outside of their scope, so please think about this before asking your sysadmin to build you a Power Automate workflow.

Esse ponto é relativo, e depende de qual vertente da TI você está, mas a TI é comumente associada à não necessitar de ensino superior para subir na área. É importante ressaltar que existem posições que exigem esse grau de educação devido à licitações, devido à perfil, e à uma ou outra causa diferente, mas majoritariamente essas duas. Tal dito também só é válido àqueles que seguem no ramo do desenvolvimento, ramo esse que exige muito mais um bom portfólio do que uma boa faculdade.
