One Successful approach to gain commitment & Buying in of your stakeholders (Interested Parties) is to adopt XPS, Where X stands for your co. name & PS stands for production system (i.e. like TPS), Then document & implement Lean Tools (& concepts) to be embedded of your Management Systems (as : QMS , EMS , OHS-MS ...etc. specially clause 10 : Improvement , Lean Tools to be your improvement tools), instead of Lean Tools is in parallel system & not integrated with Organization Management & Business Systems.

A lot of times it's difficult to simplify the message down to its core components. This way, everyone will be more likely to come along on the journey.

Part of Stakeholder Management in regards to Lean Tools is Stakeholder Analysis. Stakeholder analysis can be used to understand the stakeholder environment & to prioritise management resources. decide on the level of power and interest each individual stakeholder has to influence the project. This is not a precise art, the assessment can only be based on the perceptions of the team, but it is important that you consider ‘interest’ from their point of view not yours, a large organisation, for example a key grant provider, may be of great interest to the project but is the project of great interest to the grant provider? If the project does not happen they can just fund something else. You then plot stakeholders on a matrix.
