What are the most innovative water-saving solutions for manufacturing plants?

💧 In the quest for innovative water-saving solutions in manufacturing plants, our team embarked on a journey to revamp our kitchen cabinet manufacturing facility's water usage. 🚿 We started by assessing our current water consumption across various production processes, identifying areas where water usage could be optimized or minimized. 🔧 One notable solution we implemented was the installation of water-efficient spray nozzles in our paint booths and cleaning stations. These nozzles reduced water usage significantly while maintaining optimal performance. 🔄 Additionally, we introduced a closed-loop water recycling system, which captured and treated water used in certain processes, allowing us to reuse it multiple times before disposal.

Various steps can be taken 1. First there should be daily monitoring of water consumption ( meter at point of generation i.e Borewell or at receiver tank with log books for better tracking. 2. Proper functional STP/ETP with UV output, this same water after treatment can be used for Gardening, toilet flushings 3. Proper maintenance of cooling towers and adjoining pipelines for leakages, temperatures ( to minimize evaporation losses) 4.check for Centralized Cool air loss reasons and timely fix in case chillers are water cooled type. 5.usage of aerators in taps along with proximity sensors 6.regular check for leakages in fire hydrant line. 7.proper usage of sensors, valves for timely cut in cut off the supplies as per standard requirement.

Após a limpeza, a água é armazenada e utilizada em banheiros (vasos sanitários), irrigação dos jardins... Uma economia muito grande.
