Recently, we organized a hackathon around a goal for our web apps to include more personalization. We crowd-sourced ideas from team members across different departments and then built out the top 3 ideas based on votes. We quickly learned what was feasible and had the most opportunity for the impact we wanted. In 1 week we had an idea for our next feature. This kind of formalized innovation and experimentation creates room to test out ideas when there's "no time".

In my experience any single architecture pattern is not a silver bullet for all kind of applications. It’s depends on need and enterprise. I see many enterprises still stick with Monolith, few increased their operational cost drastically by adopting MS.
