You need to keep your data secure. What’s the best password manager for you?

Today, with the variety of tools and platforms we use daily and the frequency we change passwords, it is essential to have a system that synchronizes some questions and history to protect the password itself! Always checking an intersection of information! automatically!

There are plenty of password managers; I can give you a list of some I've contacted over the years. All share the same basic functionality that everyone expects. I was thinking about moving to a bitward family for a while. At work, we use the Hashicorp vault. And I volunteer in a NGO where we use Passbolt because of the cost of the NGO being ultra nice.

The important thing would be that the system allows interaction without the interference of people in case of doubts or loss of the password. A set of information and history that generates reliability and security!

I would say Passbolt turned out very intuitive and easy to use, but I've never used any other enough to compare. On the other hand, if a password manager was not intuitive enough, I would not use it. If people can make mistakes and share things they don't want to share, it would make the password manager quite useless.

The system must have a price and value compatible with safety, innovation and efficiency and that doesn't have much value! but it could not fall on each license/workstation and double the main server. Otherwise, those who have many workstations will become unviable!

To reinforce cybersecurity, it is highly recommended to use a password manager that generates unique and random passwords for each account and stores them in an encrypted vault. To further enhance security, experts suggest using a passphrase instead of a master password for the password manager, as the passphrase is longer and more complex than traditional passwords, making it harder to decipher. Additionally, it is advisable to memorize the passphrase instead of storing it on an electronic device, further reducing the risk of compromise.

I like it and find it productive to look at the FAQs whenever I use any service and in this case I believe it is essential to listen to those who use the system!!

We have in our company and in our private systems a sequence of planned changes to password changes and with time and the age of the user (they may forget) it is essential that we have a process for securely changing a new password. Using data and memories from each user's personal life!

I tend to use open source tools, keepass, or bitwarden. Passbolt is also based on open source. The reason behind open source is trust. Lots of people look at open source to find problems; if they find them, I'll know; if I cannot fix them, somebody else will. We all benefit from open source.

For me, the Best tools that I use allday is KeePassXC. Free tool and all I need. Intégration with mainstream tools and Web navigator.

Some time ago, when we started the entire digitization process and computers were new, the people who managed passwords and information security were very strict about this, today despite us mastering the subject, and everyone taking care of security, there is no plus the insistence on this detail!
