I agree to opening the feedback loop between key stakeholders. To ensure that the organisations priorities are reviewed as frequently as possible especially after meeting key milestones. Organisational priorities should guide the organisation towards a common goal. Stay open minded but make sure you are grounded by good organisational values (boundaries).

Set both long-term and short-term goals. Long-term goals should address strategic, high level objectives that are often require multi-year effort. These are goals that remain relatively fixed over time. Nested within the long-term goals, have short-term goals that focus on tactical objectives that can be accomplished within a year. Short-term goals can be adjusted as you learn from performance metric data. This allows your organization to adjust to new realities without changing long-term priorities.

I believe post COVID due to different reasons it is a very common occurrence. The strategy is very simple 1. Environmental Scanning: During meetings and discussions systematically monitor organizational directives and external factors affecting priorities 2. Priority Assessment: Evaluate significance and urgency of changes against current program objectives 3. Goal Recalibration: Discuss with the program management team and modify program goals while maintaining strategic alignment. Keep records. 4. Implement and measure effectiveness and maintain accountability This cyclical process helped me to ensure programmatic resilience while maintaining strategic coherence amidst organizational flux.
