In my opinion, the values and purpose of non-profit entities and their people are decisive for collaborating. If it is not clear and aligned at this point, collaboration is not viable.

Para establecer relaciones de colaboración entre organizaciones, que los valores de estas estén alineados ha de ser una de las bases sobre las que construir la relación, es algo que debe de abordarse desde los primeros planteamientos. Es importante buscar y establecer sinergias con organizaciones afines en valores y que esta necesaria afinidad sea una línea roja, es decir, que si los valores no confluyen no se inicie la relación. Y no se trata de algo despectivo, al contrario, es parte de la riqueza cultural y también de la diversidad de culturas organizacionales. Nuestros valores no pueden estar alineados con todas las demás organizaciones, entidades, empresas… la diversidad es riqueza. Pero esa afinidad debe de existir desde el inicio.

Aqui no Brasil e, especialmente, no Estado de Goiás, um dos grandes desafios para o desenvolvimento e consolidação de uma Organizações Sem Fins Lucrativos é a necessidade da Diretoria compreender o seu papel enquanto administrador, que é o de gestão e não o de dono da entidade. Outro desafio é que praticamente não temos fiscalização e dependemos, na grande maioria das vezes, de denúncias para que o governo atue contra essas improbidades.
