The leadership should consider holding listening sessions. Workplaces do annual reviews, but most of them are very surface level. Lists of tasks & and performance goals don’t allow staff members to feel apart of a team at all. They are performing checklists. That won’t foster a team environment…they are only concerned with pay & benefits. Like any athlete; who cares about winning if the coaches don’t take them seriously, care for their contributions, or support tense environments.
