Below are the critical aspects you need to check before accepting the offer: 1. Check financial health of the company in terms of the revenue, profitability and growth year on year. 2. Also check how old is the company and who is the head of the organization. Check the profile of the person #linkedin 3. Talk to the ex employee of the company to understand the culture of the company and also the stability angle 4. Also understand work life balance of the employees and also working model of the company like WFH/hybrid etc.

Company culture plays a significant role in overall job satisfaction, professional growth, and work-life balance. When you align with a company's culture, you are more likely to commit to the job for the long term.

When contemplating a job offer from a new company, it's essential to seek comprehensive information to ensure alignment with your expectations. Ask about salary, job responsibilities, work schedule, company culture, career growth, team dynamics, performance expectations, company values, benefits, stability, turnover, onboarding, contract terms, and the company's response to crises. These questions will provide a well-rounded understanding of the position, the workplace atmosphere, and the company's commitment to fostering employee well-being and professional progress.

The importance of asking for the job's roles and responsibilities cannot be over-emphasized. This is moreso, if the agribusiness is a startup where lines are blurred as regards job descriptions. Asking for a clear job description also helps new hires know the tasks that they are to focus most of their attention on, and the ones that are secondary.
