Hay que tener en claro los conceptos básicos de realidad virtual, lo primero es que tenemos que decidir que dispositivo vamos a usar, Meta Quest 3, Oculus Quest 2, Oculus CV1 o HTC Vive. Estos son los que más he usado por mi experiencia, los 2 primeros usan sistema operativo Android y los 2 últimos para Windows. Ahora tenemos que hacer las mecánicas de acuerdo a lo que la experiencia necesite, aquí se evalúa que van a hacer los controles básicos: trigger, grab y joystick.

Para crear personajes hay que entender la historia que queremos contar, entonces ellos pueden aportar a la historia y hacer que sea mucho mejor. Ahora, si hablamos de detalles técnico dentro de la realidad virtual, yo recomendaría que los personajes tengan animaciones reales y sobre todo face rigging. Este último concepto nos permitirá hacer que hablen, parpadeen y algo que yo siempre hago en realidad virtual es independizar los ojos para que vea al usuario, esto da un aire mucho más realista a nuestra experiencia.

Recomiendo no usar escenarios tan amplios, generalmente las experiencias que desarrollemos van a ser para Oculus Quest 2 o Meta Quest 3, estos dispositivos utilizan Android y no soportan mucha grafica. Ademas, recordemos que no podemos ver objetos muy lejanos, entonces mejor es hacer escenarios cerrados donde podemos hacer que sean los objetos cercanos los que se vean muy realistas.

Simply placing your team in a 3D environment with passive content is already a huge first step. You'll find that starting with moderators who guide teams through the experience will lead to more positive results faster. Engaging teams so they can hear your message. Over time as team members express enthusiasm and show they can handle more you can start to layer in more complex interactivity. Equipping teams with advanced story telling tools so they can better communicate their ideas.
