So your follow up the next day and try to provide eg the article link that you talked about - deliver additional value and if you left by saying „we should keep in touch“ why not connecting with a couple of coffee date (onsite or virtual) as a follow up? I have heard so often that this makes the difference to be concrete and connect with the next step/meeting in mind
