One of the best methods that I felt while working in my current organisation is to have 3 days connect on alternate days. Communicating and tagging responsible people in the closed groups to avoid miss outs. Weekly connect on product demos and collaboratively supporting individuals and making them feel comfortable on voicing out the challenges. This may seem like lot of efforts but definitely it allows individuals to be part of team with timely execution of work.
