Food safety standards, ISO 22000, etc gives wide options to ensure quality and hygiene of produce. It is quality assurance that plays the major role when it comes to food safety. In lines with hygiene practices, it is always better and compulsory for anyone with "GMP-Good manufacturing practices" to have an assurance policy and practice in place. Technology can be leveraged to a very high level in today's food safety procedures through "Predictive Quality Assurance" based on real-time data. This ensure none of the hygiene practices are missed. New products for hygiene and latest sterilization technology also have shown immense potential to support in food safety.
