I'd recommend opening communications to voice concerns, document risks, and ensuring their is no overlap in roles. You need to know on who is responsible and accountable... (RACI example). Implement conflict resolutions techniques, document unresolved issues Escalate if needed to their direct managers for feedback The best way to handle these issues is to avoid them from occurring. Often a simple conversation in the right environment and or knowledge gathering will clear up concerns. By fostering communication, you can proactively avoid issues.
