The exchange of opinions and the freedom of expression is an established practice. We may challenge the suggestions while showing respect to the persons who express them. A focused discussion towards problem solving is quite important and is followed by alignment of all team members to the resulting action plan. Clear communication lines, defined roles and responsibilities provide a foundation for an effective team. Conflicts will happen. Mutual respect and understanding can transform conflicting situations to efficient cooperation.

Good day, to all. The question wasn't very clear (portuguese version), about 'where' is the conflict - indoors (team itself), or conflict between maintenance and operation teams. In the first case, since TEAMWORK is a 'value', it's very important to identify the weakness(es), prioritize them and treat immediately, once it might jeopardize a whole maintenance programme, and moreover escalate until the team is heavily affected. For the second case, a management meeting is required - maintenance and operation, to review the maintenance plan (assuming that an initial assessment was already done), and then idetify where are the 'conflicting areas', and priorities.
