I agree with the laptop and hotspot, but I would also add a second monitor. If I’m traveling light it’s a portable monitor that also fits in my backpack, or if I’m working in one spot for several weeks (or months like my current assignment) it’s at least 2 large screens. Either way, a second monitor is invaluable for managing the different tasks we’re asked to work in parallel.

A majority of my work is in sites that do not allow smartphones and non-intrinsically safe tools, hence why I rate PPE higher. So I keep a log of my PPE, purchase date, calibration dates, replace/ shelf life, example Helmets, boots and harness are not for life they need to be inspected regularly and replaced. You change your safety glasses, gloves, when they are needed as well, without the PPE in date and proper you can't work. Gas detectors and escape sets need to be calibrated and replaced when required. Stay safe out there.
