It's all about drawing the image in given time. So simply : - Define various aspects/pillars to the analysis - designate strict timelines to each pillar - give your best to achieve the most in the given timeline for the pillar. You have your analysis in the best way possible in the given time.

Understand the problem clearly. Read all the required assumptions to be used. Clean the data and prepare the data in appropriate format to be analyze. Block time strictly for particular tasks so you can focus without any distractions. Select appropriate tools for analysis e.g. excel, SPSS, SAS or R.
