Managing remote game developers in different time zones comes down to clear communication, good planning, and building team spirit. At Devoted Studios, we use tools to keep everyone in sync and check in regularly without too many meetings. We turn time zone differences into an advantage by handing off tasks between teams so the work keeps moving. Celebrating small wins together keeps everyone motivated and connected, no matter where they are.

Create core hours so that everyone is on for some period of the day at the same time. Have social time, either as part or other meetings or at other times (this can be as simple as ambient calls, or as complex as remote social events). Instil in the team the credo of 'overcommunication' to make sure that everyone is talking and nobody is getting overlooked. I actually wrote an article on it already if you check my posts.
