Navigating tons of information can be overwhelming, especially when exploring a new topic. As a basic step 1, I start by using AI tools like Perplexity to break the topic into "digestible" sections and grasp the core concepts, while asking them to provide proofs and references for further exploration. As a step 2, when having some understanding of basic concepts, I delve into scholarly literature and other credible sources to build a solid research foundation.

Integrating cutting-edge technology has always been a thing in research. In graphene-based composites research, we can use advanced AI to predict the optimal dispersion of graphene and can optimize parameters using automated algorithmic experiments. Although this is at the testing stage with the most advancements in AI this technology can be soon adapted to composite-based research and many more material researches.

Here's my example: While working on a project requiring large-scale data analysis, I identified inefficiencies in manual data sorting. I integrated Python-based data analysis tools like Pandas and NumPy to address this. I complemented this with machine learning models to uncover patterns in the data that manual methods missed. As an individual I think this can be very daunting, especially for any stakeholder coming from a space with limited resources. Which is why I would first reach out and look for: 1. Multilateral organisations, NGOs and Capacity Development opportunities on offer/who are mandated to provide support 2. Find free e-learning and training programs online 3. Try to see what kind/type of technologies work best for your context. Many will say they have the answer to all your problems to try and “sell” you something but in the end as a user/client you get to define the parameters of your needs.
