To maximize shareholders wealth You should test the financial health of the company and Develop a correction plan by implementing the following steps 1- What happened in the last 5 Years (profitability - Cash- working capital -Assets- etc). 2 - Why did it happen by analysing the data, knowing insights and comparing it with the competitors and industry insights 3 - What Will happen by developing a daynamic financial model.make sure your understanding of industry drivers and assumptions which drive the forecast modelling. And use Senario and Sensitivity analysis in your model. 4 - How it will happen by establishing an action plan. and follow up it by communicate with all other parties to execute the action plan.
