Understanding Priorities from my stakeholders and my leaders will help me determine next steps. Once I have a good understanding of my priorities, I can align my team against those priorities and put a schedule or plan of action in place to do the work. If we must work on both break fixes and projects, I will look across my team to see if we can swarm on the problem and fix it fast, and return to our normal schedule or move the right people to where they are needed to move along in parallel. If we are still underwater, escalating to my leadership for assistance would be my next step. If I cannot the problem fixed, we may be forced to move the project out, communicating to my project stakeholders as well as my leadership team to align.
