This is very important, having the right software backup of the existing control systems, have initial wiring diagram of the old system. Understand the new hardware system and wiring configuration before me implementing. Do a Good hardware installation with mechanical and electrical connection as the need be to the new Retrofit plan. Update new changes in the software as the retrofit documents , and make necessary changes for a smooth process
