Generally, all cockpit crew members follow the SOP. However, if it is not being adhered to, the other pilot should politely remind the crew member to follow the company SOP or inquire about the reason for the deviation. Once the reason is identified, an alternative solution should be provided to achieve the same outcome while keeping the SOP and safety in mind. Every effort should be made to conduct the flight using excellent CRM skills while addressing the reason why the pilot flying was not following the SOP. If the pilot has a different understanding of the SOP and time permits, both pilots can refer to the company manual to address the concerns, ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of the flight."
