User frustration and resistance in ERP training are common, but manageable with the right approach. Start by breaking down the training into small, digestible chunks - don’t overwhelm users with too much info at once. Use real-life examples that relate directly to their daily tasks, making the training feel practical and valuable. Encourage hands-on practice and provide ongoing support, letting users learn at their own pace. This approach helps reduce resistance and builds confidence in using the ERP system effectively.

Frustration and Resistance can come in various phases of an ERP implementation. A proper contol is needed during the Training period as it can demotivate and break the user trust on the new system. Start with Listening and understanding the challenges users face. Communicating the "why's" behind the change. and how the new solution simplifies tasks, increases efficiency, and supports their daily responsibilities. We do 3 different types of trainings for end users depending on their roles. 1> In-App interactive user guide training that will build trust and confidence of the end user on ERP interface and they become familiar with the system. 2> ERP normal face to face training session with group of users of each department. Never mix 2 departments in same training which will increase risk of frustration and conflicts between users of different departments. > On job training when user starts using the system we put them on hyper care and deploy our trainer on floor for a month who will assist them with how to use system during their regular working time. Above strategy will keep you close with end users to observe behaviour, satisfaction and success.
