As an environmental consultant, I'll aid in transforming industry practices to be sustainable and educate communities on their vital role in conserving our environment.

Performing an environmental impact assessment (EIA) involves steps like scoping, data collection, impact prediction, mitigation measures, assessment, reporting, and public consultation. EIAs help identify environmental risks, inform decision-making, minimize adverse impacts, enhance project sustainability, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster public engagement and transparency, ultimately addressing environmental issues associated with projects.

Uma das principais tarefas dos consultores ambientais é a de avaliar os impactos ambientais de vários projetos, atividades ou políticas. Isso envolve coletar e analisar dados, realizar levantamentos de campo, aplicar leis e normas ambientais e preparar relatórios e recomendações. Ao fazer isso, você pode ajudar a identificar e mitigar riscos potenciais, reduzir as pegadas ambientais e melhorar o desempenho ambiental.

Conduct on-site/on-screen evaluation of the area of target and provide valuable insights based on the findings. I will equally create awareness about the issue to gather input from locals and experts in the area.

Ser consultor ambiental é um desafio, cheio de perspectivas e ao mesmo tempo cheio de desdobramentos. Trazer a pauta ambiental, social e econômica para determinadas corporações e determinados líderes é urgente, todavia é enfadonho quando não alcançamos o propósito.

As an environmental consultant, there are several actions I can take to help address pressing environmental issues: 1. Conduct Assessments and Audits: I can perform comprehensive assessments and audits of environmental practices and policies for organizations. 2. Develop Environmental Management Plans: I can assist in developing and implementing environmental management plans for businesses and industries. 3. Provide Expertise on Environmental Regulations: I can stay up to date with local, national, and international environmental regulations and advise organizations on compliance requirements. 4. Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments: I can assess the potential environmental impacts of proposed development projects.

Um outro papel importante dos consultores ambientais é fornecer soluções ambientais que atendam às necessidades e objetivos de diferentes clientes e partes interessadas. Isso pode incluir a concepção e implementação de sistemas de gestão ambiental, a realização de auditorias e avaliações, o desenvolvimento e a aplicação de tecnologias verdes ou a facilitação da educação e conscientização ambiental. Ao fazer isso, você pode ajudar a melhorar a qualidade ambiental, a eficiência e a sustentabilidade, além de criar valor para seus clientes e para a sociedade.

I believe in the holistic approach to address sustainability issues. Accordingly, part of the highly ignored areas that needs strengthening is stakeholder engagement, which includes bringing together civic groups, youths, and other vulnerable people within the society to feel part of the process. These engagements must include educating people on the dangers of environmental destruction, and ways to avert these dangers.

My favorite area of work is providing solutions. Sometimes we expend more time focus in the problem, rather than define properly the problem and start working in building solutions. With technology, we can not say there are not access to solutions together in collaboration with our creativity.

As a qualified environmental scientist, once there is an environmental problem, i shall contribute, to the best of my ability, to a communicable solution.

In my experience, I find that collaborating with diverse partners is paramount to assisting environmental consultants in tackling urgent environmental issues. I believe in forging alliances with government agencies, NGOs, businesses, and local communities to leverage a wide range of expertise and resources. I believe that by fostering inclusive collaboration, we can develop holistic solutions that address the root causes of environmental challenges and promote sustainable practices. Through shared knowledge and collective action, we can make significant strides towards a healthier planet for future generations.

Collaboration is always key, Being in a room with like minded individuals (On an environmental perspective) who are in diverse sectors of the Environemntal field. This is also why I love the Environmental Sciences so much, it's diversity keeps it interesting , and collaborations are always key innthe various sectors.

Collaboration in regard to environmental issues means working together with other concerned people, means group intelligence, more experience, ideas .. and also more opinions, interests and view points. That´s why we need to structure the collaboration by a good process and to design the dialogue. Especially, if we have complex and with this, often also conflicted topics. And that´s what we are responsible for as mediators and consultants for process support.

As I mentioned collaboration is key to build solutions, as environment is complex and required different specialist of different areas, respect and listen. Together in team we build solutions

In my experience, I find that adapting to changing contexts is vital in aiding environmental consultants with pressing issues. I believe in staying flexible and responsive to evolving environmental dynamics, such as climate change or shifting regulations. I believe that by continuously assessing new data and adjusting strategies accordingly, we can effectively address emerging challenges. Embracing innovation and staying informed allows us to remain proactive and resilient in our efforts to safeguard the environment for current and future generations.

The recipe is not the same for everything and as the environment is dynamic a situation can change from one situation to another, is important to use adaptative management in the process of applying solutions

In my experience, I find that advocating for environmental values is crucial in supporting the efforts of environmental consultants. I believe in raising awareness about the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability. I believe that by promoting a culture that prioritizes ecological health and responsible stewardship, we can mobilize public support and influence policy decisions. Through education, outreach, and grassroots activism, we can empower individuals and communities to take meaningful action towards addressing pressing environmental issues and fostering a more harmonious relationship with the natural world.

Political will is very important. And also the involvement of the society. Advocacy it is an important part in building a sustainable world.

In my experience, I find that engaging in lifelong learning is essential to supporting environmental consultants in tackling pressing issues. I believe in continuously updating my knowledge and skills to stay abreast of the latest developments in environmental science, policy, and technology. I believe that by staying curious and open-minded, I can contribute innovative ideas and solutions to complex environmental challenges. Embracing ongoing education and professional development enables me to collaborate effectively with consultants and play a meaningful role in advancing environmental stewardship and sustainability efforts.

Here I will like to add the importance of “getting friend” (with ethic and responsibility as the base of that relationship): with AI. Artificial Intelligence has now the capacity to make our work easier, by doing some systematic work, as resume an online meeting, a document, while we can focus in our creative and strategic work. A machine is not creative, it just the expression of an algorithm. Intelligence is compose by emotions and rationalization, machines just copy and “learn by amount of data and patterns”, that is all. Is a tool created by humans. AI should inspired us as environmental consultant, what our creativity is capable of.
