You start on small productions that have small limited budgets. I use full frame SLR cameras that are silent with no shutter noise so you can shoot on rehearsals and full takes. I use Canon A7IV on silent mode. You have to be discreet and work alongside the film camera crew but not in their way or get the eye line of the talent? Bottom line remain as anonymous as possible around a film crew and always on hand for a break in filming when you're needed for a posed publicity shot? There's a lot of waiting around yet you have to be ready when needed?
