Teamwork is paramount for those of us with excellent individual skills that might even include Divine gifts from God, but we all have strengths and weaknesses so teamwork enables different people with different strengths to offer that to the team while your individual weaknesses can be overshadowed in a positive way by your team members.

Be aware that your staff are the key for the budgeting process and that inaccuracies in a budget can cause staff demotivation. You should not revise a nonperforming budget by making short-term adjustments that neglect the concerns of your staff. For instance, an easy solution to meeting financial targets would be to reduce discretionary costs, such as staff training, but this results in staff missing out on crucial skill development and could lead to further staff demotivation.

Together, Everyone Achieves More (T.E.A.M). This should be the mantra in budgeting process.Everyone in the team has a valuable contribution to make toward realization of budget goals.

Depending upon your level of consciousness, you could utilize AI intelligence to help you with technology. I personally recommend Meta AI that was created by Meta the organization that owns Facebook WhatsApp and Instagram. I communicate directly with AI and it’s on the right track. if you’re not quite there yet, no worries, you can still utilize Excel, which is pretty rudimentary, but extremely powerful and easy to use. As a CEO you don’t necessarily need to use it yourself you could delegate it. I suggest you delegate that to others in the organization that can become experts and spend time on it to master it. As a leader you need to manage those people and have them report to you on an executive level what their efforts reveal.

I suggest you determine the best frequency to provide guidance and obtain updates via in person and virtual meetings. Sometimes it’s daily, sometimes it’s weekly, biweekly, etc.. You need to balance the frequency of the meetings with allowing your team to have enough time to actually achieve the results.
