When team members own a part of the project, leaders and managers can oversee, fire fight or notice any new/unaddressed aspect of the project instead. 🚀 When leaders/managers are too involved, blind spots are easier to form and we might miss fresh ideas which can jeopardise the robustness of a solution.

This phase of a project is usually given less time and focus as we tend to get excited over the initial buzz and momentum from ideation. 🎊 This is why it will be good to include how we will gather feedback in the ideation process for everyone to internalise that making improvement is an important aspect of the project deliverable as well. 😆 Knowing this from the start helps manage expectations and release defensive responses at a later stage. And because people decide how feedback will be collected, there will be less resistance to their own suggestions 🧘🏽
