A lot of platforms have analytics / insights built-in to their system. If you are utilizing one of those platforms, it is necessary to learn and understand what it is trying to say or what the numbers might mean. Oftentimes, people give less attention than they actually should to these features.

One thing that I found to be extremly effective is gamification. Asking clients to solve a puzzel, play a short match against an opponenent onbthe otherside of the network can tell a lot to the network engineers on the QOS for Voice, VDO and Data thus helpling them fine tune the data gateways and routers for optimal performance.
