I see many Digital Learning communities make 1 attempt to try something new. It doesn't work as well the first time, and the team gives up on the entire tool. More often, the team reverts back to the "old way" of doing things. When leading a team into innovation, the leader must intentionally create space, time, and freedom to try something new with failure as an option. The parameters need to ensure that the first failure is not the end of the trial. There is guides around the space to make sure tried & true methods continue to guide project progress. Creating intention space for creative failure is pivotal for teams looking to grow.
