Value their ideas and work. -DISC analysis helps to identify personal skills of team members to effectively allocate them with tasks of varying nature.

It is important to visualize and explain where the team sits in the bigger picture of the company and then zoom in from global goals down to personal goals. What are the company goals? How does the department contribute to the company goals? How does the team contribute to the department goals? How do you as an individual contribute to the team goals. Then visualize how progress flows. Who makes the (half)product, where does it go next, where is the finish. Show for each step what the expectations are/what success looks like. Alignment, accountability and motivation comes from asking your team members ahead of a new year what they like to learn/grow in, love doing. Align the team goals as best as possible with the individual wishes.

We have a risk register per project whereby we analyse possible future scenarios. We consider the risk's impact and likelihood to determine which risks are more critical than others. Each risk has an associated mitigation plan. Once a quarter, during our performance revision, we review the risk register and evaluate whether we need to modify risks, create new ones or whether we had to implement a mitigation plan for risk. We keep the registry to optimise the project's design and as a monitoring tool.
