No matter which field you are pursuing it is best to reflect on what you excel in and enjoy doing and what is something you hesitate to dive into. Speaking of Culinary Arts students, it would help to even journal their own experiences and later list areas that require attention and improvement. And don't hesitate to dive into unfamiliar cuisines under the guidance of a mentor as well.
