How can you build and maintain public diplomacy partnerships with academic institutions?

I agree that in selecting target stakeholders one has to find those who believe in one's vision. This is to use them through synergy to impact the world's systems and institutions both internal and external.

Enter into dialogue with these institutions on how their expertise and knowledge of past history can be applied to solving the problems of today.

Build-up your skills with time and share your thoughts. The institution should be the one you had graduated from, and the linked is there for you to catch up with. There is a bond between the say institution with you, this is beyond the linked with social medias. They have seen you through from beginning to the time you are now. There is a trust between the bond you have to build up with the time. This is beyond the words. There is a saying: Don't give up until you are done! That means is a lifetime commitment to you. Bachelor was a steppingstone to you; you need to work through till there are in recognition of your works. There are no others way. The truth always comes out from behind. The values and interests clear to each other's trust.

Ist rule of maintaining Public Diplomacy is to maintain Public Secrecy in order to first evalue, analyse and judge the potential partner's vision in all those areas where partnership could work.

Cultural and educational exchange programs can go a long way in promoting public diplomacy partnerships with academic institutions.

While reaching out to like minded stakeholders, the aim should be to sell infallible, time proof absolute truth and not relatives.

Thoroughly research the organization there is nothing worse than talking at cross purposes. Make sure the terms of any partnership are clear in other words set ground rules. Who can use any research produced, how can the research be used, what are your red lines and what are theirs. And sadly in this day age if this is a think tank or university undertake thorough background checks or the people, department and organization

At second stage it is to analyse first the short and long term vision of the potential partner's, their objectives and their ability of carrying on. Evaluation and judgment of short term and long term is extremely needed to plan accordingly and to work on AI with short term or long term objectives. Only after finalising this one can plan to make a contact or rapport with the potential Institutional partner.

The partnership should be formalised to sponsor a mindset change agenda which is geared to challenge the status quo by providing that which is based on Christian morality.

Before Negotiating and formalising at 3rd stage it is very needed to simulate the complicacy of 4 important factors- Short term vision , Long term vision, Short term vision with long term objectives and Long term vision with Short term objectives. After deep analysis of all such factors only you could decide to put and present your specific vision - again shirt term or long term with Short term or long term objective to evalue , analyse and judge the probable outcome of that potential partnership after a minimum stipulated outflow of money. Across the table it will be finalised.

I believe in the adage that the truth shall set us free. The absolute truth is that which is consistent with the truth of truth or the wisdom of wisdom - Christianity. Implementation and monitoring would be based on consistent engagement in agenda setting and through constructing or deconstructing a thesis, anti thesis or synthesis of a topic under review or discussion.

Monitoring part is again a very clumsy and complicated part as one who is in charge of monitoring must know every little bit of thing regarding one's Short Term, Long Term Vision as well Short term and Long term Objectives in a very candid manner. Only then this part could be monitored at implementation stage. Now why I shall consider it Clumsy as no one in this sector want to reveal their Vision and Objectives as these are very sensitive part of a Project. It demands a very high level of Confidentiality and Secrecy. Then under this situation how candid and neutral monitoring is possible. This is to plan and focussed first.

Now Any Lapses and Changes again bring the same point point factors as discussed above again repetition. So no matter remain to explain anything extra here.

Soft Power in International Relations is the effort to project national power through co-operation with other international agents rather than through force. Building and maintaining public diplomatic relationships with academic institutions would fall under that category and is indeed quite effective and important. A foundational step towards this is the establishment and support of university Chairs in credible institutions and in national studies programs abroad. Another would be the granting of fellowships to students, the utilization of diplomatic missions and networking (ambassadors and consular staff can play a key role in forging such partnerships) and the alignment of Soft Power initiatives with academic goals, just to name a few.
