One prior to selecting solution or rather I would say a must for all and the other during selection and planning. 1. Good data governance including common codes (which are some time ignored) to have a proper data lake. 2. Scalability and compatibility of the solution being deployed. Compatibility in the sense that as the usage and complexity grows sometime if the global architecture design is not kept in mind; overall solutions which need speed of implementation are delayed.

If so, is the integration reasonably simple? 4) How simple is the User Interface? Is training going to be an issue? 5) What is other users experience? Make sure to read or get reviews from current clients. Once you have the answer, create a simple matrix to assist you and your team with the decision.
