When it comes to safeguarding data on mobile devices, I prioritize implementing a robust cybersecurity program that integrates encryption protocols and multi-factor authentication methods. By doing so, I ensure that our sensitive information remains secure, even in the dynamic landscape of mobile technology.

Many mobile device management solutions can do this quite effectively. Having containerisation, remote wipe capabilities, secure authentication such as MFA, encryption of data at rest and in transit, and version control are good features of a robust mobile device management solution.

Your mobile device cybersecurity program also needs to include your stance on BYOD - Bring Your Own Device. So many people use their personal phones for work that failing to address BYOD is a sure fire way to have sensitive information inadvertently leaked. Especially if you’re allowing access to email, shared drives, and other tools. You can choose to allow access based on your company’s risk profile and tolerance, but you should be clear eyed about what and how you’re allowing on personal devices

Be sure you have tools like this to enforce any paper policies you have, especially when enacting controls on privately owned devices.
