How can you increase your fees as a Construction Management consultant?

In my experience, the first step to increase the fees is to present my experience and the value which can be added by hiring me and that will be closely connected to my experiences in the same felid in addition to my earned skills and my educational background. Presenting my achievements & my skills in mitigating risks , decrease the weaknesses and increase the opportunities' is my reputation which will support me to get the suitable fees which I've deserved, Simply people will get benefits from my knowledge, connections, networks, life skills gained during my past careers.

As a Construction Management consultant, increasing fees should align with the value I bring. Assessing my skills, experience, and achievements against market rates is crucial. I emphasize my expertise, successful track record, and unique skills, showcasing specific client benefits. Offering tailored solutions and additional services also justifies higher fees, ensuring clients receive comprehensive value.

One thing I've found helpful, is to understand exactly the client's needs and to see what the options and alternatives they have available and what I can recommend to them to achieve their goals on efficient way and within allocated time, quality & budget. My duty is to see the gaps and the solutions and to try to find the bottlenecks in all the previous projects of the clients in order to find the best response to avoid and mitigate any possible risks.

The chances to Increase the fees will increase after completion of one or two project and give a prove to the clients that they've reached a good results the impact of the consultancy services which I've provided, and upon reflecting the added values of this services. The impact and the outcomes of my contribution will be the base to ask for fees increasement.

Aquellos en los que cada profesional sea capaz de ofrecer el máximo valor por su experiencia o capacidades son potencialmente los que pueden resultar más lucrativos y solucionar mejor las necesidades del cliente

Es fundamental tener conciencia de la necesidad de invertir en uno mismo, tanto adquiriendo habilidades técnicas como en el propio desarrollo personal y profesional. Mantenerse abierto a colaboraciones y nuevas opciones y trabajar la marca personal

La especialización es un arma de doble filo, pero especializarte te garantiza que quien te necesite, pague lo que te corresponda al considerarte experto. La especialización es la punta del iceberg de una gran experiencia. Si ademas se acompaña de certificaciones oficiales e internacionales, se cierra el circulo y se te considera experto.

Para poder mejorar tus servicios recomiendo: - Una página web atractiva donde el cliente pueda ver tus trabajos cuando te evalúe. - Una buena presentación (con diseño cuidado) donde se vea todo el potencial de tus servicios pero sobre todo que el cliente vea su posible resultado final. - Un presupuesto detallado con un software de facturación (queda más profesional). - Presentar el presupuesto siempre en directo (a no ser que sea un monto bajo).
