An example, I would love to give is my experience in the community while I was a student. A proper research was not done concerning where we were posted to, and when we got their we found out that work was becoming too monotonous. So, we students rallied around, wrote letters to the appropriate quarters and we went round schools within the community, giving talks on topics of interest to teenagers. We set the trail for other students who were posted to the community afterwards and till date, the school sensitisation program is still going on.

Within my leadership classes at my university I was able to volunteer in many different community service opportunities and be exposed to volunteer clubs. By learning about different leadership styles and forms of communication we as a class were able to see how non-profits and student lead organizations operate within the local Tampa Bay area.
