How can you stay motivated and focused on your strategic plan as an early-stage Thought Leader?

There are the five things I have done in the past 5 years: 1. Build a small team of advisors and report to them monthly. That will keep you super accountable. Make sure they are people you can't afford to disappoint 2. Put yourself out there. Celebrate each win; this will bring you folks who are naturally aligned with the things you do 3. Invest in Teaching Others; You will naturally get more motivated to build the capacity to execute at speed. 4. Be Happy To Call Yourself 'The Name': My biggest motivation comes when people call me who I am. Who are you and let people call you your 'Thought Leadership Name' 5. Execute the Little Things: I make sure I do 5 things daily. Its my personal framework. What is yours?

Remind yourself why you started and the impact you are delivering. Remain focused on what matters most with achieving the mission and be disciplined to not be distracted.

Evaluate your plans daily against current realities and factors that could affect your goal positively and negatively, then create systems and structure to both maximize productivity & mitigate against setbacks, see both negative and positive possibilities as opportunities needed to created systems that can stand the test of time.

This is the most important step! So many choose to ignore getting really clear on why, what, how, whom are they looking to activate with their thought leadership. They blindly go in sharing random thoughts in the hope something will stick. If you can get clear on this aligned with what lights you up, you will create an engaged community that wants to amplify and build alongside you!

Create a Project Charter. It is your North Star and your guide when you are tempted to change course or follow a "new" idea. Every action you take must tie back to your purpose. The Charter helps you filter things that seem like good ideas but will actually take you off course. Also, curate your consumption of content related to others in your space. As you forge your way and execute your vision, seeing what others are doing in the same space is tempting. Some competitive knowledge is helpful, but ruminating on what others are doing will consume time and energy you do not have to spare and may cause you to guess second. You have to trust your instinct, listen to your inner voice, and keep your eye on your North Star.

Women will take care of themselves monthly with the supports given by me to put their wellness as a priority by the end of each month.

Just as a startup anchors its journey on a visionary long-term goal, I ground my motivation in a clearly defined vision for my thought leadership. I break down this vision into achievable milestones, celebrating each small victory to maintain momentum. It’s about appreciating the journey as much as the destination.

Feedbacks são importantes sim, mas saiba para quem pedir. Nem todo mundo é capaz de te dar um feedback interessante. Prefira pessoas que estão dentro do perfil ideal da audiência que você quer atingir. Assim, os feedbacks serão mais assertivos. Imagine se você, que está se posicionando como líder de pensamento técnico em tecnologia, pedir um feedback para o seu amigo de marketing. Ele provavelmente não vai entender nem metade dos assuntos que você está abordando e o feedback será falho.

The agility to pivot and adapt is crucial in the startup world. Similarly, I stay flexible in my strategies as a Thought Leader. By staying open to new ideas and feedback, I can refine my approach, ensuring that my strategies remain relevant and impactful. Startups must foster a culture of continuous learning to avoid the knowledge drain from turnover. As a Thought Leader, I commit to lifelong learning, which involves staying updated with the latest trends, engaging with peers, and sometimes, unlearning and relearning. This keeps my content fresh and my mind sharp.

We need to know our strengjts and weaknesses so we need to collaborate with people that can help with our weaknesses so we can improve on the things we don't do well.

Think of your strategy like it’s your very own playbook. Each win is a play that worked perfectly—worth a celebration because it moves the team forward, towards the end zone. Now, every loss, that’s a learning moment. It’s not about fumbles or missteps; it’s about refining your plays, cutting out what doesn’t get yards, and doubling down on the strategies that do. Like a quarterback reading the field, looking for the open receiver. Recognize the patterns and themes that move the ball. With a blend of resilience and reflection, progress is made. That’s what a Thought Leader does—they spot the gaps, make the calls, and lead the team to victory, with humility and confidence. That’s how you make progress, step by step, play by play.

When you are hitting your objectives and goals, you absolutely should celebrate the wins! It will help you, and your team, stay focused and intentional to hit the NEXT goal. And if you aren't hitting those wins like you want, that provides you a great opportunity to assess and learn why not and improve from there.

The ultimate goal is to collaborate with other professionals that will help these women with their well-being along with companies that have the same value portrayed with products that will help with our cause.

Penning down a note in your planner like "Be happy, have fun, and don’t take yourself too seriously" is the kind of spontaneous wisdom that keeps the heart light and the mind sharp. When you blend this carefree mantra into your strategic plan, it's not just about targets and goals; it's also about enjoying the ride. As you share your insights and lead with authenticity, remember that a dash of levity can make your journey as a Thought Leader not only successful but also truly enjoyable. Critical to build thought leadership around things that you truly care about or have mastery around. Passion and commitment to any strategic plan around those areas becomes easier to execute. As for any plan of intent, keep them short to key items per time. Evaluate over a period of time and reprioritise/pivot as needed. Lastly, consistency and self accountability are very crucial. You have got to put the work in.
