Yes, you should understand your employees' needs and preferences, but this is true for all employees, not just those with intellectual disabilities. First of all, how would you know who you need to treat differently? Ensure that your HR team and managers are trained on inclusive techniques for hiring, training and managing and you will end up with a workplace that serves everyone.
