If I had to choose one area where AI would do better than humans, roadway design would be it. I believe that natural language processing can very efficiently translate traffic data and user preferences into actionable insights. By deploying a squadron of sensors, cameras, and drones, AI will swiftly capture real-time data on traffic, weather, and more. Then, armed with machine learning and computer vision, it could delve deep into this wealth of information, unveiling hidden patterns and trends. Together, these AI-driven tools will sculpt roadways that not only navigate traffic but also cater to the needs and desires of the people who use them.
