While some chatbots may deploy a variation of AI capabilities, what is important is ensuring the knowledgebase (KB) of the chatbot is maintained in order to provide accurate and relevant information to the user. After the chatbot is developed using the desired KB, identifying where to effectively embed or integrate the chatbot will increase user activity. Using the admin dashboard, activity can be viewed in detail to determine where improvements can be made. Using a data-driven approach to improving the chatbot will increase further engagement and also become a helpful resource that can support the intended audience such as staff or faculty.
