While Cost, Scalability, Security are most important factors to consider one should also look into the support offered by each model and how flexible each model is in terms of customization and integration with existing systems.

In my experience, it is easy to get lost into focusing on elasticity, availability and so on. But before focusing on these aspects there is one important thing - cutting micro services. it is an art to cut your services into micro services, making sure services are not too small nor too large, not having too many responsibilities into one micro services. It comes with great experience. Also consider your team size, more number of services makes it exponentially challenging if your team is very small.
