The challenge is the more abstract forms of data that EA tries to "codify" eg. PESTEL, strategy, ideas, goals etc. These typically come from workshops, stakeholders & and documents. Make sure data inflow or outflow should be automatically via APIs, batch or something not manual. If the data is coming automatically with the right quality , it would be easy to manage. Every EA tool have different capabilities but and focus is on modernisation.I would expect following capabilities to support to integrate from different source. Inbound and outbound APIs, excel upload, batch upload, excel generators etc. Once you have a single source of truth by mapping the data from source with EA capabilities , you can also export data to external reporting tools.

But in that case, all efforts for developing EA becoming more harder for company to carry out. That is usually a case for large and mature companies. First of all start to develop EA answering a real life issues, show it's value, than go to a next step concerning with different tools and integrations.

By this I mean that you need to make sure that you maintain the source from which the information comes. What you don't want is to double or even triple the information (or worse!).
