The important element of managing your marketing support team remotely is TRUST. Your team needs to believe that you trust them with remote work. Do not micromanage. Give them their SPACE. This is especially true with younger teams. They will be frustrated & demotivated if you constantly follow up. While it's important to monitor your remote team's performance, it's also important to give them freedom. Striking the right BALANCE between control and freedom is key to a successful remote team. My team follows the 'Hub and Spoke' model in the book Deep Work. We meet as a hub and decide on the work for the day. Then, break up into individual spokes to do our respective work and meet at midday to check our progress and back to spokes again
