Applying Appreciative Inquiry (AI) is a powerful approach I use to foster growth in my coachees. AI helps clients to reconnect with their strengths in a very specific and meaningful way. The starting point of AI coaching is the Discovery stage. In the Discovery stage, you help clients focus on what is already working, shifting their attention from gaps to action. This step guides clients to focus on the present and the progress already made, even if still very small. Some great questions you can ask at this stage are: - What's already working? How did you make it happen? - How is the solution already emerging, even if you can barely see it yet? - When did you achieve similar things before? - What resources are you bringing to the project?

I recently learned how to use it and absolutely love it. You have to be willing to push buttons try, fail, get back up and try again! When you succeed making something that looks very professional and interesting it’s worth the effort! You really can teach an old dog new tricks!
