I started prompting art models to try and generate art a little over a month ago. Something I've found is that it is difficult to translate your ideas precisely. For example, turning a jar upside down. The model may know what a jar is but struggles to flip it on its side in any simple prompt. So ML may make the initial phases of visualising a concept 'easier'. If you can adequately prompt a response from the model you could get a rough idea of your vision, which you could further develop. While ML does have value and can quickly prototype, you may find yourself settling for more than you would ordinarily for more complex concepts.

The output will be worse than what you started with, and it'll be nearly impossible to get inspiration or find patterns. The age-old saying of Garbage-in, Garbage-out still rings true. This section should probably be renamed "Good Data as a Medium." Having just any 'ol datasets won't get you anywhere, especially data that has gaps, inconsistent, inaccurate, or unrelated.
