I've seen firsthand how transformative a strong mentorship program can be for new educators. When I was paired with a seasoned mentor early in my career, it made all the difference. Their guidance and emotional support gave me the confidence to thrive, even on the most demanding days. Investing in quality mentorship is one of the best ways schools can empower new teachers to succeed.

Ensuring they feel supported and valued can make a significant difference in their confidence and effectiveness.

Along with mentorship, I think a proper training program should be designed for new teachers about class culture and class handling also they should be trained about the new teaching techniques and last but not least to boost new teachers' confidence in such situations emotional support and cultural collaboration with colleagues is required so that they should not feel alone.

As well as you can, get to know the teacher and their learning style - teachers are students as well, after all. This can help you determine the PD that will work best for them.

In career and technology schools, we have found success through shadowing opportunities, particularly for new or novice teachers who are feeling overwhelmed by the needs of diverse learners. The thought partnership, alone, eases the angst of planning and organizing tasks on the table for diverse learners.
