Desgraciadamente, en este siglo XXI, en empresas de clase mundial, me encontrado con malas practicas que evitan que la cultura Lean avance, algunos lideres seccionales como directivos, protegen los KPI en algunas partes del proceso, por ejemplo tenemos un planta de 6 procesos claves desde inicio hasta el final, y cuidan el opertion ratio del primer proceso, sacrificando: Primero: la calidad de Producto, por no asegurarlo desde este primer proceso heredando sus problemas de calidad al siguiente proceso. Segundo: en el siguiente proceso, las piezas No conformes del proceso anterior, por mandato se las responsabilizan a este proceso. En Conclusión, provocan que la velocidad de facturación por pieza baje, por mas retrabajos que por mejoras.

Me ha tocado jefes de mejora continua, que solo están enfocados en reducir los costes, por eso primero es muy importante por medio de Mapeos identificar cuales son tus cuellos de botella de cada uno de tus procesos, y analizar primero como puedes llevar estos cuellos al nivel de restricción de proceso, cuando tus haz llevado el cuello de botella a este nivel, deberás de iniciar ya no un Kaizen sino una reingeniería de tu proceso hasta que logres llevar esta restricción hasta la demanda de mercado, que te obligara a volver al principio de tu análisis, para ver si debes de incrementar tu capacidad de manufactura, o si debes subordinar tu planta a tu demanda, pero esto ya debe ser en base Inversión-Costo-Beneficio.
