I recommend the Scrum Master create a tracking action points page, to make sure that the topics that were raised in the last retro were taken into consideration, and if the topic was not complete, at the beginning of the new retro the team could talk about what went wrong for the goal didn´t get achieved. This is a challenge because the SM must calculate a time for that and make sure the team members participate in the discussions.

Another point is that the SM must create an environment of trust because being positive in this event could not be enough to make the team participate, is a union of trust, a positive and safe environment. The team members will not share their thoughts and pain if there is no trust, the SM must listen and take actions. Actions are more important than beautiful words for a team.
